The Rotary Club of Odiham & Hook Race Night

by otmg on Tuesday 30th May

It wasn’t only the new Royal Ascot that opened its doors to the public on Saturday 27 May, North Warnborough Village Hall also became a race course for the evening entertaining 90 people attending the Odiham and Hook Rotary Club – Race Night.

With a bar and a hot supper cooked by the chefs of RAF Odiham to match anything Ascot could offer, the race goers were treated to a nine race card which raised £2,250 for Rotary charities. These include the equipping of an HIV/AIDS clinic in Dududu, South Africa and helping to provide a holiday for a young man from South Warnborough who suffers from cerebral palsy.

Without the help and support from a number of local businesses and other organisations this money would not have been raised and the Rotary Club would like to thank the following for their support –

The George Hotel - Odiham
Brian Bass Services Limited
North Warborough Village Hall
FRN Joinery
Royal Air Force, Odiham
Priddy & Sons Limited
Bracknell Print Room Group
Abacus Employment Services Limited
McArthurs Estate Agents
Mackenzie Smith Properties Limited
Wills Chandler Beach, Solicitors
McCarthy Holden (Odiham) Limited
